At Dobrawa Szmyt Designs, each piece of jewellery is made and selected with care. I hope you will love your purchase, but if you change your mind or there is a problem with your order, please contact me, and I will be happy to help.
Returns and cancellations
If you purchase an eligible item through this website, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it without giving a reason.
Please contact me at hello@dobrawaszmytdesigns.co.
After notifying me, you have a further 14 days to return the item.
Please contact me before sending anything back so that I can provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.
Condition of returned items
You may handle and examine your jewellery as you reasonably would when viewing it in a shop.
Please return the jewellery in its original condition and, where possible, with its original packaging.
If an item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to examine it and this has reduced its value, an appropriate deduction may be made from the refund where permitted by law.
Return postage
Unless an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning it.
As jewellery can be valuable, I strongly recommend using an appropriately insured and trackable postal service. Please retain proof of postage until your return has been completed.
If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact me before returning it so that suitable return arrangements can be made.
Refunds
Once your return has been received, I will process your refund without undue delay.
Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method.
Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel an online order, your refund will include the price paid for the item and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for your order, where applicable.
A refund may be withheld until the returned goods have been received, or until you provide evidence that you have sent them back, where permitted by law.
Personalised and custom-made jewellery
The statutory right to cancel because you have changed your mind does not normally apply to jewellery that has been made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you.
This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Sale items
Sale and discounted items have the same statutory rights as full-price items. Eligible online purchases may therefore still be returned under the cancellation provisions above.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your jewellery arrives damaged, is faulty, is not as described, or you receive the wrong item, please contact me as soon as possible at hello@dobrawaszmytdesigns.co.
Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected by this policy.
Exchanges
If you would like a different item or size, please contact me. Where an exchange is possible, I will explain the available options.
Because much of my jewellery is handmade and individual, an identical replacement may not always be available.
