Textured Sterling Silver & Hematite Pendant Necklace
An individually handcrafted sterling silver necklace featuring a richly textured circular pendant and a smooth, dark hematite cabochon.
The distinctive silver surface has been created by hand, one impression at a time, using a specially modified texturing tool. The small, irregular impressions form an organic pattern, giving the pendant depth, character and a beautiful play of light across the metal.
A smooth, approximately 6 mm hematite cabochon sits towards the edge of the pendant, providing a striking contrast to the textured silver. Subtle patination enhances the individual marks, bringing out the depth and detail of the surface.
The pendant is paired with a substantial 18-inch sterling silver chain, carefully chosen to complement its weight and proportions. Together, they create a beautifully balanced necklace with a reassuringly solid feel.
Simple in form yet rich in texture, this piece reflects an individual approach to traditional silversmithing.
